We’re really into the steampunk vibe. Especially where it two-steps with Americana.

Putting together our stage gear has been too much fun! Last weekend, we sought inspiration on the road, and travelled to the Wild West Fest steampunk festival in Calico, California.

Ooooh, so many cool accessories… which to choose?

Halfway through the day, we stopped at a saloon for libations, and snapped these phone pix.

Then we “mosied on over” to see Steam Powered Giraffe’s music show in Calico’s picturesque, outdoor amphitheater.

SPG, as they’re known to their ardent fans, put on a totally fabulous show. You really must see it to believe it.

Who knows? Maybe someday we’ll get the pleasure of opening for them.

In the meantime, we’ve decided this is the perfect location for our first band shoot!
